-My Name is Bobby Seal, and I am fighting for the rights of those African American's being suppressed by the white man. Born in Texas, and then relocated to Oakland CA, during WWII. I was in the air force for three years, until i was kicked out for undisclosed reasons. In 62 I joined the Merritt College and began attending the Afro-American Association (AAA). Eventually I began to feel that the AAA was based more on speculation rather then action, and being the self starting entrepreneur that I am I wanted to do something about it, so me and Huey Newton formed the Black Panther Party. We stressed self improvement and black separatism Also I am not afraid of fighting for the rights that are guaranteed to us by the CONSTITUTION I displayed this through sending armed contingent to defend the African American right to bear arms. Along with many other things the black panther party ran medical clinics and provided free food to children . After I did my time in prison (for the Chicago riots at the democratic national convention) I became a legit politician and ran for mayor of Oakland. I made great progress, coming in second out of eight with over 40,000 votes.
I created the black panther party to stop the brutality and to stop this non-violent protests. I wanted to stop the police's brutal treatment of my fellow black men. The only thing protecting me was the second amendment, guns. We wanted to eliminate the "racist pig power structure that was in place already." The CIA falsely accused the black panthers. We were not a malicious group of people and in know way had we wanted to kill white people or anything like that, were just simply taking the first and neccesary steps towards equality.
